Alexander Scheiber elected president of Concordia Student Senate

Alexander Scheiber of Seward, Neb., was elected president of the Student Senate at Concordia University, Nebraska by a vote of its students. He works as a liaison between the Senate and university administration. Scheiber, a Seward native, is studying biology and chemistry with the hope of starting a career as an anesthesiologist. Scheiber participated in the Senate for two years before deciding to run for office last spring.

The Senate meets once each week and is made up of its four officers and representatives from each dormitory hall and student organization. The Senate works with these representatives and Concordia administration to maintain and better the Concordia experience.
