Clara Rich named member of Concordia University, Nebraska Symphonic Band

Clara Rich of Lincoln, Neb., is a member of the University Symphonic Band at Concordia University, Nebraska for its 2013-14 academic year. Clara , a Freshman, plays Alto Saxophone and is working toward the following degree: B.S. Education Math, Music.

The University Symphonic Band is Concordia University's premiere concert band and is deeply rooted in the more than one hundred year history of instrumental musical ensembles at Concordia. Andrew Schultz is the band's conductor.

Along with several concert performances throughout the school year, the Symphonic Band is one of several ensembles that performs at the popular Christmas at Concordia concert series, which draws an audience of approximately 2,000 people to each of its four concerts each December.
