Elyssia Finch participates in "Murder by the Book" play at Concordia

2016 Feb 12

Students of Concordia University, Nebraska will perform Craig Sodaro's "Murder by the Book" Friday, Feb. 26, 2016, and Saturday, Feb. 27, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 28, at 2 p.m. Each of the performances will be presented in the Black Box Studio Theatre in the lower level of the Music Building on campus.

Performers include:

Elyssia Finch, a senior from Omaha, Neb., playing the role of Agatha Christie

The production is formed as a comedic mystery in which a secret society of literary critics gets together annually to select the best and worst mysteries of the year. In order to protect their identities from each other, they disguise themselves as famous authors. An anonymous threat is made, someone gets murdered and the plot unfolds from there.

"The students are working hard to honor these authors while adding their own personal touch to the role," said Associate Professor of Communications and Theatre Bryan Moore. "We are excited to share this story with our audiences."

Tickets are $5 for the community and $3 for Concordia students, faculty and staff.
