Lauren Staehr Performs in Honors Recital at Concordia University, Nebraska

2013 Apr 10

Lauren Staehr, freshman, from Grand Island, Neb., is one of eleven Concordia University, Nebraska musicians who performed in the spring honor recital on Tuesday, April 9, in the Music Center's recital hall.

Lauren sang mezzo soprano.

Top students in Concordia's music program are selected to perform based on auditions before a panel of Concordia's full-time music faculty. The recital is intended to showcase exceptional student talent and effort in preparation and performance.

"I feel very excited and honored to be a part of the recital," said performer Elyssia Finch. The musicians, including Finch, seek to master their performance repertoire through private vocal and instrumental lessons and hours of rehearsal each week.
