Olivia Oetting inducted into national music honor society

Concordia University, Nebraska recently inducted four students into the Iota Nu chapter of Pi Kappa Lambda. The students were inducted into the national music honor society at the university's spring honor recital.

Nominations are made by the music faculty on the basis of excellence in both scholarship and musicianship.

As an accredited, institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Music, Concordia is eligible to induct up to 20 percent of the senior class of music majors and up to 10 percent of the junior class of music majors each year.

Pi Kappa Lambda became a national organization in 1918. The aim of the society is the recognition and encouragement of the highest level of musical achievement and academic scholarship.
