Concordia Nebraska announces Direct Admission Program for LCMS high school graduates

Seward, NE (02/27/2026) — Concordia University, Nebraska and the Concordia University System (CUS) recently announced a new Direct Admission Program for students who are graduating from a Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod (LCMS) high school. The program is effective immediately and available for current class of 2026 seniors considering fall 2026 enrollment.

"It is moments like these when I am so grateful for the partnership in the Gospel that exists among other schools in the Concordia University System," said Concordia Nebraska President and Professor of Interdisciplinary Studies and Director of Academic Ventures Dr. Bernard Bull. "This is an inspiring example of how we can come together to accomplish something that can be a great blessing to students across the country."

In addition to Concordia Nebraska, other participating universities include Concordia University Chicago, Concordia University St. Paul and Concordia University Wisconsin.

"To all our LCMS high school students, I would like to say, CUS universities are your universities. Direct Admit is a great way for you to continue your studies at a university committed to the Lutheran confession of the Gospel of Jesus Christ," said Concordia University System President Rev. Dr. Jamison Hardy. "If you are considering college, consider attending a Concordia University System school. Direct Admit makes your move to college easier than ever."
