Concordia Nebraska names Aaron Roberts as Associate Vice President of Undergraduate Enrollment

Seward, NE (02/02/2024) — Concordia University, Nebraska today announced that Aaron Roberts, former university director of undergraduate admissions and operations, has transitioned to the role of associate vice president of undergraduate enrollment at the university effective January 1, 2024.

"Aaron has faithfully led and served Concordia's mission in the admission office for many years, and this expansion of his leadership has promise to be an immense blessing to the Concordia community," said Concordia University, Nebraska President Dr. Bernard Bull.

In this position, Roberts is responsible for providing vision and strategic leadership to the university's undergraduate recruiting, leadership that is immersed in and aligned with the university mission, vision and strategic plan. Responsible for developing and executing an ongoing plan for undergraduate enrollment within the broader mission of equipping Concordia's students for lives of learning, service and leadership in the church and world. He will partner with athletic leadership and teams, academic programs and communities, performing arts communities, and other groups to curate a rich, vibrant, mission-aligned student body. He will also work to ensure that the university's mission and Lutheran Christian identity are central to all recruitment efforts.

Roberts has a bachelor's degree in English literature from North Central University and a master's degree in educational administration and leadership from St. Mary's University of Minnesota.

Roberts has served at the university for 17 years, previously serving as assistant director of admissions prior to transitioning to the director of undergraduate admissions and operations role. His transition to this new role is part of an intentional, vision-driven administrative restructuring process designed to allow the university to thrive and achieve carefully-outlined strategic planning goals.
