Concordia Nebraska names Kim Boyce as Chief Operating Officer
Seward, NE (01/05/2024) — Concordia University, Nebraska today announced that the university has named Kim Boyce as chief operating officer. In this position, Boyce will be responsible for leading university strategic planning efforts and overseeing multiple university operational areas, ensuring that Concordia Nebraska has the resources, systems and culture needed for staff and faculty to live out its mission and strategic plan.

Boyce has served at the university since 2018. Prior to being named to this role, Boyce served Concordia Nebraska as professor of practice of psychology, as a part-time counselor and as director of strategic planning.
Boyce has a bachelor's degree in pastoral ministries and psychology from John Brown University and a master's degree in marriage and family therapy from Friends University. A licensed marriage and family therapist with more than 20 years of human service management experience, Boyce's work has included leading human services organizations that serve people with severe and persistent mental illness, developmental disabilities and substance abuse. He has also served as a leader in the facilitation of both nonprofit and public-private partnerships and has served in two governor's cabinets as a public policy director for human service legislative interests. His administrative experience has included business development and financial oversight, staff development and nonprofit board development and facilitation.

Dedicated to Christ-centered culture leadership, Boyce has founded multiple human services organizations as well as owned and operated other businesses over his career, three of which he led as executive director. Boyce currently owns and operates a developmental disabilities services provider in the Twin Cities and assisted living properties and businesses in Phoenix, Arizona.
