Concordia University, Nebraska launches Master of Educational Administration for Christian Schools graduate program

Seward, NE (10/05/2023) — SEWARD, NEBRASKA - October 05, 2023 - Concordia University, Nebraska today announced the launch of the university's new Master of Educational Administration for Christian Schools graduate program. Beginning in spring 2024, educational professionals aspiring to become qualified as school administrators can concentrate their educational administration studies toward the specific needs of Christian schools through this new program.

"Our Christian schools need dedicated and successful leaders," said Corrie Johnson, assistant director of graduate recruitment at Concordia University, Nebraska. "This program prepares future administrators with principles and techniques for organizing and leading their school, supervising instruction, developing great teachers, managing finances, school law and more. This program has been carefully designed to emphasize and explore how the Christian school environment might affect some aspects of administrative leadership and management. "

The Master of Educational Administration for Christian Schools is founded on Concordia Nebraska's existing education administration program and places special emphasis on the distinct differences, needs and opportunities of Christian schools and includes between 36 and 45 credit hours through eight week all-online courses. The program also includes hands-on experience through 250 hours of field work directly with local school administrators. Average completion time is 24 to 36 months.

Concordia Nebraska offers a variety of comprehensive, online graduate programs. Featuring eight-week courses and numerous start dates throughout the year, these faith-based programs allow most participants to earn a master's degree in 18 to 24 months.
