Seward, NE (07/07/2026) — Since 1981, Congregations for Concordia University, Nebraska (CCUNE) has been equipping the university's students for lives of leadership and service to the church and world.

Congregations for Concordia University, Nebraska member churches intentionally partner with Concordia University, Nebraska to support Lutheran education and ministry.

"At Concordia University, Nebraska, our students are strengthened not only by what they learn in the classroom, but by the faithful support of our congregations. Through your prayers, encouragement, partnership, and generous scholarship support, you help create an environment where students can grow academically, spiritually and personally," said Jennifer Furr, Concordia Nebraska senior director of outreach relations and engagement. "Every act of support is a reminder that they are part of a larger Christian community that believes in them, invests in them, and walks alongside them as they prepare to serve Christ in their vocations. We are deeply grateful for the vital role our congregations play in shaping the lives of our students and advancing the mission of Concordia."

Congregations for Concordia University, Nebraska (CCUNE) equips students from member LCMS congregations by enabling them to obtain a Christ-centered, Lutheran education while preparing for their vocational callings.

The CCUNE program currently has 109 member congregations. In 2026, more than $160,000 in scholarships were distributed to 142 students through the program.
