Meet Studia Vitae instructor Dr. Bernard Bull

Seward, NE (10/08/2026) — Dr. Bernard Bull serves as president, professor of interdisciplinary studies and director of academic ventures at Concordia University, Nebraska. In November, Bull will also serve as an instructor for Concordia University, Nebraska's non-credit continuing education and lifelong learning program called Studia Vitae, teaching a course titled "The Lifelong Learning Leader." Studia Vitae offers Christ-centered continuing education opportunities in a variety of focused areas through an online scheduled and self-paced learning platform.

Bull is author, co-author and/or editor of a number of books including The Pedagogy of Faith, Digitized: Spiritual Implications of Technology, Imagine the Possibilities: Conversations on the Future of Christian Education, Prep Talks: Tales of Challenges & Opportunities in Christian Education, and his most recent book, Faithful and Flourishing: A Guide to Excellence in Christian Schools.

The Lifelong Learning Leader is a six-week session that examines how the concepts of Paideia and Schole provide a foundation for holistic, joyful leadership development, guiding participants to cultivate habits for mind, body and spirit and create a personal lifelong learning plan. The Lifelong Learning Leader takes place Tuesdays November 3, 10, 17 and 24 and December 1 and 8 at 7 p.m. Central Time.

Registration is now open for this course and additional offerings in Concordia University, Nebraska's Studia Vitae program. Each CEU course is $150 and is delivered in six one-hour sessions. Discounts are available for program participants who are members of preferred partner organizations. The short, focused sessions are available as scheduled webinars that will also be recorded for future viewing. Enrollment is flexible and open to anyone with no prerequisites required, and no commitment is needed to take additional classes.
