Registration now open for May 2026 courses in Concordia Nebraska's Studia Vitae continuing education program

Seward, NE (04/02/2026) — Registration is now open for Concordia University, Nebraska's non-credit continuing education and lifelong learning program called Studia Vitae. The program offers Christ-centered continuing education opportunities in a variety of focused areas through an online scheduled and self-paced learning platform.

The program's next set of courses begins the week of May 11, 2026. Registration is available at ceu.cune.edu. The program's May 2026 courses are:

  • Biblical and Humane Assessment: This course invites participants to explore assessment methods shaped by biblical principles and educational wisdom reaching back to the foundations of Lutheran education during the Reformation.
  • Biblical Wisdom and AI: Designed for Christian church and school leaders and nonprofit leaders but open to anyone, this course explores a biblical foundation for using and making decisions about how to use AI.
  • Building Donor Relationships and Partnerships: Designed for Christian nonprofit leaders, pastors, school administrators and non profit board members but open to anyone, this course helps participants develop strong donor relationships that advance the mission.
  • Forming the Christian Imagination Through Literature: Designed for K-8 teachers, homeschooling parents, principals and Christian librarians but open to anyone, this course - presented in partnership with Concordia Seminary St. Louis - shows participants how to use stories to cultivate wonder and nurture faith.
  • Schole & Lifelong Learning (Paideia) for Leaders: Designed for Lutheran church and school leaders, current and aspiring Christian nonprofit leaders and lay professionals in leadership but open to anyone, this course equips participants to cultivate habits of reflection and lifelong learning for sustainable leadership.
  • The Art of the Riddle: History, Philosophy, Theory and Design: Designed for Christian educators, DCE's, camp leaders, game designers and Christian creatives but open to anyone, participants in this course will study riddles as playful tools for wisdom and learning.
  • Trauma Informed Schools and Classrooms: Designed for educators and administrators, and open to everyone, this course explores the impact that trauma and stress have on learning and how trauma-informed practices can develop trusting relationships and lead to positive outcomes for students and their learning communities.

Each CEU course is delivered in six one-hour sessions and is $150. Exclusive pricing is available for program participants who are members of preferred partner organizations. The short, focused sessions are available as scheduled webinars that will also be recorded for future viewing. Enrollment is flexible and open to anyone with no prerequisites required and no commitment needed to take additional classes.
