Registration now open for November 2026 courses in Concordia Nebraska's Studia Vitae continuing education program
Seward, NE (10/01/2026) — Registration is now open for three new classes - all starting in November - in Concordia University, Nebraska's Studia Vitae non-credit continuing education and lifelong learning program. Studia Vitae offers Christ-centered continuing education opportunities in a variety of focused areas through an online, scheduled and self-paced learning platform. Registration is available at ceu.cune.edu.
The Lifelong Learning Leader is a six-week session that examines how the concepts of Paideia and Schole provide a foundation for holistic, joyful leadership development, guiding participants to cultivate habits for mind, body and spirit and create a personal lifelong learning plan. Moderated by Concordia Nebraska President, Professor of Interdisciplinary Studies and Director of Academic Ventures Dr. Bernard Bull, the Lifelong Learning Leader takes place Tuesdays November 3, 10, 17 and 24 and December 1 and 8 at 7 p.m. Central Time.
Biblical Wisdom and AI is designed for Christian church and school leaders and nonprofit leaders but is open to anyone. The course considers AI through the lens of Luther's Small Catechism as part of our Christian journey of faith and stewardship, helping participants reflect on how to use God's gifts wisely, responsibly and in service to neighbor. Moderated by Lutheran Education Association of Houston Chief Academic and Innovation Officer Jonathan Orr, Biblical Wisdom and AI will take place Thursdays November 5, 12 and 19 and December 3, 10 and 17 at 6 p.m. Central Time.
Sport as Faith Formation is designed for coaches, athletic directors, DCEs, PE teachers, camp leaders, Christians who work in sport-related businesses and volunteers but is open to anyone. This course shows participants how to integrate Christian faith and character development into school athletic and extracurricular programs, equipping coaches to serve as mentors and cultivate Christ-centered team cultures. Taught by Concordia International School, Shanghai Director of Spiritual Life & Identity Dr. Christopher Mizel, Sport as Faith Formation will take place Mondays November 6, 16, 23 and 30 and December 7 and 14 at 6 p.m. Central Time.
Courses will be delivered in six one-hour sessions and are $150. Exclusive pricing is available for program participants who are members of preferred partner organizations. The short, focused sessions are available as scheduled webinars that will also be recorded for future viewing. Enrollment is flexible and open to anyone with no prerequisites required and no commitment needed to take additional classes.
