Registration now open for Studia Vitae continuing education program from Concordia Nebraska
Seward, NE (12/05/2025) — Registration is now open for Concordia University, Nebraska's new non-credit continuing education and lifelong learning program called Studia Vitae. The program offers Christ-centered continuing education opportunities in a variety of focused areas through an online scheduled and self-paced learning platform.
The program's first five courses begin the week of January 12, 2026. Registration is available at ceu.cune.edu

It is about discovering the treasure of Christ-centered learning and using those treasures to the glory of God and the blessing of others," said Concordia Nebraska President and Professor of Interdisciplinary Studies and Director of Academic Ventures Dr. Bernard Bull. "Through Studia Vitae, we are committed to providing accessible, rich, rewarding, Christ-centered learning opportunities that can help people learn and grow throughout life and to use this learning in ways that advance the missions of the places where they lead and serve."
The program's first five courses are:
- Biblical Foundations of Classical Christian Leadership: Designed for Lutheran church and school leaders, current and aspiring Christian nonprofit leaders and lay professionals in leadership but open to anyone, Biblical Foundations of Classical Christian Leadership equips participants with timeless leadership principles grounded in Scripture and classical wisdom.
- The Mission and Legacy of Faithful and Flourishing Lutheran Education: Designed for new teachers and leaders in Lutheran schools, church staff, Lutheran school board members and pastors but open to anyone, The Mission and Legacy of Faithful and Flourishing Lutheran Education guides participants to an understanding of the history, legacy and mission of Lutheran schools-and what it takes to be a faithful and flourishing school.
- Sport as Faith Formation: Designed for coaches, athletic directors, DCEs, PE teachers, camp leaders, Christians who work in sport-related businesses and volunteers but open to anyone, this course shows participants how sport can be used to shape character and nurture faith.
- Biblical Foundations of Fundraising and Philanthropy: Designed for Christian nonprofit leaders, pastors, school administrators and nonprofit board members but open to anyone, this course shows participants how to root fundraising in biblical stewardship and generosity.
- Choosing and Using Children's Literature with Christian Discernment: Grades 3-8: Designed for teachers, administrators, parents and librarians but open to anyone, this course shows participants how to evaluate books through the lens of faith and select stories that engage young minds, reflect Christian values and inspire lifelong faith formation.
Each CEU course is $150 and is delivered in six one-hour sessions. Discounts are available for program participants who are members of preferred partner organizations. The short, focused sessions are available as scheduled webinars that will also be recorded for future viewing. Enrollment is flexible and open to anyone with no prerequisites required, and no commitment is needed to take additional classes.
