Sam Huebner appointed to Concordia University, Nebraska Board of Regents

Seward, NE (05/23/2025) — Concordia University, Nebraska today announced that Sam Huebner '11 was recently appointed to his first term with the Concordia University, Nebraska Board of Regents. He replaced his father Richard Huebner, who served as a regent from 2015 to 2024.

Huebner has a bachelor of science in business administration from Concordia Nebraska. He and his wife Kristen (Kohlwey) Huebner '12 are co-founders of two ecommerce brands: Parker Baby Co. and TallSlim.com. He previously worked as an associate at GVC Capital in Denver, Colorado, in mergers and acquisitions, financial advisory and strategic deal management and as interim controller and analyst at Iofina in Denver, Colorado, a publicly traded chemical manufacturer. He currently serves as chairman of the school board at Trinity Lutheran School in Franktown, Colorado, as a board member of the Colorado Lutheran High School Association and on the congregational board of directors for Trinity Lutheran Church in Franktown, Colorado.

The Huebners have four children.

Regents are elected at The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod Nebraska District Convention and The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod Synodical Convention. Regents may also be appointed by the Concordia University System Board or elected by The Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod Praesidium.
