Concordia University, Nebraska's Wind Ensemble, chosen from the 85-member University Symphonic Band, will wrap up their spring tour with a performance at 7 p.m. on March 17, 2017, at St. John Lutheran Church in Seward, Nebraska.

Five seniors will showcase their work in the Bachelor of Fine Art Senior Thesis exhibition at Concordia University, Nebraska, Mar. 19-26 in the Marxhausen Gallery of Art.

The University A Cappella Choir from Concordia University, Nebraska, will travel to Wisconsin, Michigan and Indiana for its annual tour March 22 - 27. The choir will conclude the tour with two local-area concerts on Sunday, April 2nd at 2 p.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas (Newman Center) in Lincoln and at 7 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Seward.

Concordia University, Nebraska, presented "The Women of Lockerbie," Feb. 24 and 25 at 7:30 p.m. and Feb. 26 at 2 p.m. The performance, a primarily student-directed and designed show, was held in the Studio Theater of the Music Center on Concordia's campus.

The Concordia University, Nebraska Wind Ensemble, a select 43-member concert band, will be touring March 2-12, 2017, with stops in Missouri, Illinois and Florida.

Four Christmas at Concordia concerts brought more than 3,000 Concordia students, faculty and staff, alumni and community members to St. John Lutheran Church near campus. The concerts featured the Women's Chorale, Male Chorus, Concordia Handbell Choir, University Brass Ensemble, University A Cappella Choir and University Symphonic Band.

Concordia University, Nebraska's winter Jazzfest will take place Dec. 9, 2016, at 7 p.m. in the Weller chapel auditorium. The Concordia Handbell Choir and Handbell Choir II will perform Dec. 10, 2016, at 3 p.m. in the Music Center's Recital Hall on Concordia's campus.

Concordia University, Nebraska's held its fall Chamber Recital on Nov. 15, 2016 in the Recital Hall of the Music Center on campus. It featured vocal duets, piano, cello and trumpet performances, as well as a brass ensemble performance.

Concordia University, Nebraska's spring Jazzfest will take place April 29, 2016, at 7 p.m. at Hillcrest Evangelical Church in Seward, Nebraska. The Concordia Handbell Choir and Handbell Choir II will perform May 1, 2016, at 3 p.m. in the Music Center's Recital Hall on Concordia's campus.

The semiannual honor recital at Concordia University, Nebraska will showcase the vocal and instrumental talents of 12 student musicians. The recital will begin at 7 p.m. on April 14, 2016, in the Music Center Recital Hall. The concert is free, and the public is invited to attend.

Music composed by Concordia University, Nebraska students will be featured in a recital on April 20, 2016, at 7 p.m. in the Recital Hall of the Music Center on campus.

The University Symphonic Band of Concordia University, Nebraska will perform its spring concert April 19, 2016, at 7 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Seward, Nebraska.

Broadway at the Boulders is a new, family-friendly outdoor concert benefitting New Vision Renewable Energy. The performance features Concordia University, Nebraska's University A Cappella Choir, Brass Ensemble and student solos and duets. The 7 p.m. concert will be on the Holthus Family Plaza outside Janzow Campus Center April 17, 2016. The event is free, and the public is invited to attend.

The Concordia University, Nebraska Chamber Choir will be performing assemblies and concerts in Fremont and Omaha, Nebraska, and Irvine, La Mesa, Lake Forest, Bakersfield and Long Beach, California, on its annual tour during the week of May 7-15, 2016.

Nine seniors will showcase their work in the Bachelor of Fine Art Senior Thesis exhibition at Concordia University, Nebraska. The show will begin on April 3, 2016, in the Marxhausen Gallery of Art. An opening reception will be in the gallery on Sunday, April 10, 2016, from 1 to 4 p.m. A gallery talk with the featured students will take place at 2 p.m. The exhibition will run through April 15.

Students of Concordia University, Nebraska will be performing five one-act plays that cover a range of genres including comedy and drama during the annual One-Act Play Festival, running April 7-9, 2016.

Students of Concordia University, Nebraska will perform Craig Sodaro's "Murder by the Book" Friday, Feb. 26, 2016, and Saturday, Feb. 27, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 28, at 2 p.m. Each of the performances will be presented in the Black Box Studio Theatre in the lower level of the Music Building on campus.

Concordia University, Nebraska's Brass Ensemble will perform its spring concert on April 15, 2016, at 7 p.m. in the Recital Hall of the Music Building on campus.

Concordia University, Nebraska's University A Cappella Choir will travel to Colorado, Idaho, South Dakota, Oregon and Montana from March 2-13, 2016, for its annual concert tour.

The Concordia University, Nebraska University Symphonic Band will perform for the students, faculty and staff at its four Lutheran high school partner schools in Nebraska, as well as for the community in Seward, Nebraska, in mid-February. The concert at St. John Lutheran Church in Seward, Nebraska, is free and open to the public on Feb. 21, 2016, at 3 p.m.

Concordia University, Nebraska recently hosted two annual forensics tournaments for both college and high school speakers. The Sleet and Snow Swing Invitational Jan.16-17, 2016, brought in dozens of speakers from 10 colleges representing five states. The CUNE High School Speech Classic on Jan. 23, 2016, brought nearly 200 high school speakers from 17 high schools to Concordia.

Christmas at Concordia weekend Dec. 4-6, 2015, included three events as part of Concordia University, Nebraska's annual Christmas celebration: Christmas at Concordia concerts, a community open house and the Scholarship Parade of Homes.

The Concordia University, Nebraska Chamber Choir and Chamber Orchestra will hold their fall semester performance on Dec. 10, 2015, at 7 p.m. in the Recital Hall of the Music Center on campus.

The annual winter JazzFest concert, celebrating the style of blues, jazz, and swing music, is Dec. 11, 2015, at 7 p.m. in Weller Hall auditorium at Concordia University, Nebraska in Seward.
