Five Concordia University, Nebraska, health and human performace students were inducted into Phi Epsilon Kappa national honor society on October 22, 2017.

Concordia University, Nebraska, will hold its Fall Composer Recital at 7 p.m., on Tuesday, Nov. 7 and its Fall Honor Recital at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 8 in the Recital Hall of the Music Center on campus.

Concordia University, Nebraska's Marxhausen Gallery of Art will host the exhibit, "Harbinger of A Deeper Magic: Selections from Concordia's Permanent Collection" fully curated by Concordia art majors and is currently available for viewing at the Marxhausen Gallery of Art on Concordia's campus through Dec. 13, 2017.

The Christian rock group Remedy Drive in conjunction with Lutherans for Life will give a free concert at 7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 20, 2017 with Concordia University, Nebraska, student bands as the opening acts.

The University A Cappella Choir from Concordia University, Nebraska, will travel to South Africa for its international tour May 7-27, 2017. The 74 voice choir was auditioned to get the number of students to 44, which is the optimum number to travel with internationally.

The Department of Natural Sciences at Concordia University, Nebraska, recognized exceptional work and contribution to the science department at its 16th annual awards banquet on Wednesday, April 19, 2017. Graduating seniors were also honored at the banquet. Brad Schick, Concordia alumnus from 2014 who recently completed a Master's degree in Agronomy from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, shared some remarks on his experiences at Concordia and his research at UNL.
